Firstly I wanted to say thank you so much to Laura, over at AIMH for nominating me for the Liebster Award!
I love to get involved in things like this so that I am able to find new bloggers and so I can spread the word about the ones that I have been loving! However, I’m not a huge fan of ‘rules’ on posts like these, so I’ll be following the general structure instead! Sorry!
Get to Know Me! – The Questions I was asked
What’s been your biggest blogging achievement? Being sent my first ‘gifted’ item from a brand alongside a discount code for my readers has been my greatest achievement so far. I’m still a relatively new blogger and brands recognising me and wanting me to promote them makes me super happy and proud!
Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they? I have a tendency to get annoyed very quickly (I’m trying to work on it).
What’s your dream job? Are you doing it now? Blogging full time is the ultimate goal! I’m working really hard on it alongside a day job and study, so who knows where it will take me.
What’s your favourite topic to write about? I love everything I write about, my thought is if I don’t love writing it, why would anyone else enjoy reading it? Look books are always super fun though!
What keeps you motivated? I’m very goal orientated, if I find myself demotivated then I think of all the things I want to achieve and realise I’m not going to get there without putting the work in.
If you could visit one place in the world, where would it be and why? If you mean that I could only visit this one place, then probably Disney World, Florida, I’ve been three times and don’t think I could ever get sick of it, its the most magical place in the world!
What are you most scared of? Dying alone. Thats a deep one, sorry!
What’s your all time favourite movie? At Christmas- Elf, the rest of the year- Blended (Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore).
Which social media platform do you use the most and why? Twitter, I love Instagram but since starting a blog I’ve tried hard to post more professional looking photos, which takes extra work and effort. I feel like I put less pressure on myself with regards to twitter, it comes slightly more naturally so I tend to use it more.
What’s your favourite item of clothing that you own? My grey Jaeger coat/ jacket, its the most expensive item of clothing I own and its just effortlessly put together.
Do you feel proud when you tell people you blog or they ask you about it? I’m really proud, I still feel a little awkward at times because I feel like a lot of people who aren’t a part of the blogging world (I say that meaning readers as well as bloggers) just don’t get it. Its something that people judge so although I’m proud, it also makes me feel slightly vulnerable and defensive sometimes.
